She gained a lot of reputation with her latest album debut “Nocturne” on Kant Recordings and is now on air aigain with a great three track EP on DREX. “Le Chat Noir” comes in on soft paws, lithesome groovy basslines and frisky but decent percussive plays. “FEAR THE CULTURE” is the debut of the Diametral labelhead combo “Springer & Roos” with a single 4-tracker. 4 special tracks that can´t be more different to each other.  ”Fear the Culture” is an oldschool mix of techno and trance, hypnotic and straight forward with a great break and a monumental voice-sample. “Die Jägerteiche” is a more epic track featuring house and techno elements on dark and deep bassline. “No Plastic Balls” is the real techno part in this release, straight into the face with a great metallic and insane synth. The release is closed with “Too Fast For Being Slow” and experimental dubtechno track, just try to find out how you can use it …

Out Now: Robin Jacobs & Guba – Weekender (DRC006)

After Sascha Walter’s “Glastank” and Fallhead’s “Instant Remix Files” Diametral Cube is smashing again with a really big remix package, this time based on the original “Weekender” by Robin Jacobs & Guba. Overall its a very dubby and dancefloor loving release with great grooves and very different interpretations. Kai Randy Michel, well known for his releases on Nachtstrom Schallplatten, is supporting this release with a great monotone and gloomy techno remix and beside with a great dub edit. Drumcomplex instead is forcing a little more into some techhouse styled beats with a great rolling groove. Plasmic Shape is presenting a nice fusion of dub and techno with that hypnotic loop character. Some more nice techhouse grooves coming from Stefan Mallmann already know from 3rd Wave and Night Drive Music. Last but not least Mago is closing this bigpack with some evolving glitch sounds and a subtile electrotech synth.
